Aid Stations

Medical support is provided by University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health (UMUCH). There will be doctors, nurses, physical and respiratory therapists throughout the course. In addition, local ambulance companies are providing ambulances at all aid stations.

On the bridge there will be two mobile medical carts that will treat person injured on the bridge and evacuate off the bridge. You should be properly trained and physically able to complete the event. The medical team is there if needed.
 
There will be a doctor at the start/finish and at the relay point. The other aid stations will have a physicians assistant or nurse, therapist, trainer and ambulance and crew.  

The fluid replacement stations on the course will have water and a sports drink. There will also be a toilet

All stations will have race operations and emergency operations communications with the main command post and the two forward command posts.

REMINDER. On the back of the bib, provide emergency point of contact information not your information. We can get that from the bib number. Need the emergency contact.

Photography

ChessiePhoto is the offical photograher of the SRRF. Photographers will take photos at strategic locations along the various race courses. Photos will be available for free the week following the race.

After Party

The event's After-Party will take place at Tydings Park overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. There will be local craft beers and specially selected foods to reward your hard earned running efforts. Each registered runner (of legal age) will receive a ticket for beer that is included with registration.

The Celebration will remain open from 8am to 1pm and will be open to the public.

Use this opportunity to reunite with friends and family, meet other runners, enjoy some great food and drink, and relax while listening to live acoustic music.
